Triqueta is a competitive game for 2-5 players from the age of 7 to collect exactly 3 identical animal tokens of each type of animal to form a perfect Triqueta, an ancient symbol with 3 interlaced arcs. But players must be careful, if they get too greedy and collect 4 or more tokens of the same animal, they will only lose points at the end.
To win the game players must find the perfect balance between pushing their luck and making it harder for their opponents! Depending on the group of players, Triqueta can either be a fun, lightweight family game or get competitive and heated in the battle for the best animal collection.

Mooi artwork en fijne spelduur.
Dit set collection spel past erg in ons straatje. Wij vinden dat mechanisme erg leuk en dit spel heeft heel mooi artwork. En de speelduur is ook niet erg lang, dus je speelt al gauw nog een potje. Er zit ook een beetje push your luck in, want je moet op het juiste moment een dierenrij te pakken. Heb je namelijk teveel van hetzelfde dier, dan krijg je minpunten, maar als je te vroeg piekt, heb je er weer te weinig. En de afweging, als ik hem nu neerleg (met name met 2 spelers) dan gaat mijn tegenstander er in de volgende ronde met deze mooie rij vandoor. Met 5 spelers kun je niet te lang wachten, want dan is de rij weg voordat jij aan de beurt bent, dus dat is altijd een leuk spanningselement. Met 3 en 4 hebben wij hem nog niet gespeeld. Als je het spel meestal met 2 spelers speelt, is de uitbreiding hidden wolves zeker een aanrader! Deze uitbreiding schijnt er met name voor de 2 en 5 spelers te zijn en heeft ook nog een extra 2 speler-variant. Dan kun je er ook echt wel een tactiek in proberen te gebruiken.
